Self Care Information

NHS 111 Service

NHS Out of Hours Service provides medical care or advice when the surgery is closed. Fully trained advisers will assess your symptoms and direct you to the most appropriate local service. This can include an out-of-hours doctor, walk-in centre, urgent care centre, emergency dentist or late opening chemist. For life threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.

Telephone Advice

mobileIf you have a concern or query which you feel could be dealt with over the telephone rather than making an appointment, your doctor, nurse or any member of the Health Care Team will be happy to speak to you. Often the question that you wish to ask can be dealt with by a telephone conversation, as a “face to face” consultation is often only necessary when an examination needs to be performed.

If you feel that this service would be of help to you please ask the receptionist to arrange it by calling the surgery during opening hours.
