NHS 111 Service

NHS Out of Hours Service provides medical care or advice when the surgery is closed. Fully trained advisers will assess your symptoms and direct you to the most appropriate local service. This can include an out-of-hours doctor, walk-in centre, urgent care centre, emergency dentist or late opening chemist. For life threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.

Surgery hours may vary slightly to those indicated. Surgery times are split between the partners, not all doctors are in attendance at surgeries in each “slot”.  They may be away from the surgery for various reasons eg on home visits, or engaged in health promotion clinics within the surgery.  Because of holidays, study leave etc there may occasionally be one or two doctors absent from the practice simultaneously.
