NHS Out of Hours Service provides medical care or advice when the surgery is closed. Fully trained advisers will assess your symptoms and direct you to the most appropriate local service. This can include an out-of-hours doctor, walk-in centre, urgent care centre, emergency dentist or late opening chemist. For life threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.

Our practice nurses are available by appointment. They undertake numerous different tasks and provide a wide range of services for patients including:- dressings, blood tests, injections, vaccinations, stitch removal, ear syringing, blood pressure checks and foreign holiday advice. They are always available to offer professional advice.
Carol Morgan is currently training to be an Assistant Practitioner. She is available Monday to Wednesday to see patients for blood pressure checks, new patient checks, blood tests, dressings and lifestyle advice.
Mrs Michelle Barr is our Practice Manager. and is responsible for the overall running of the practice. She is always happy to assist you with any non-medical aspects of your treatment or health and to discuss any suggestions which may help us to improve the service we offer.
Our team of five reception staff, led by reception manager Carole Ward, is here to assist you in making routine and emergency appointments to see your doctor, organise repeat prescriptions and to answer your various requests and queries. When you telephone they may need to ask you for further details to enable us to assist you as quickly as possible. Please remember that they are not simply being nosey! They are bound by the same strict rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
Community Nursing Team
We have a community nursing team attached to the practice. Their duties include visiting patients in their own homes, providing practical assistance and professional advice.
Our team of health visitors is available to provide advice on all aspects of health care for all ages. The health visitors can always be contacted via the practice.
We have a community team of midwives attached to the practice. They run the ante-natal clinics in conjunction with the doctors.
