Appointments - (see also Extended Access)
Appointments can be booked online, in person or by telephoning 0151 677 2327 and using our automated system or by speaking to a receptionist. The appointment system operates for your convenience and also to aid the doctor. A separate appointment should be made for each patient.
'On the Day appointments are available for URGENT cases only' and will be passed to the duty doctor who will assess your request. Please provide as much information as possible when requesting an URGENT appointment, this helps to ensure that patients who genuinely need to see a doctor on the day are able to do so. Unfortunately, it may not be possible to see the doctor of your choice.
A full appointment system is in force and whenever possible you will be given an appointment to suit you with the doctor of your choice. However, we wish to emphasise that this is not always possible. To allow the smooth and efficient running of the practice, for the benefit of staff and patients, we would ask you to be understanding and not make unfair or unreasonable demands after you have been given a clear explanation.
All routine doctors appointments are for 10 minutes only. Please note that one appointment is for one problem and one patient. Longer appointments are available upon request and may be booked with a member of the reception team.
Please note that persistent failure to attend for appointments, or cancellation in good time, may result in removal from the practice list.
All patient services are located on the ground floor. The entrance doors are automatic to allow easy access into the building. There are specially designed toilet facilities on the ground floor. Reception staff are trained in evacuation procedures to assist the egress of disabled patients in the event of an emergency.
